Intense dissemination work by DEAR partners to market ETH
Established European Transport Hub had been marketed and presented on several occassions during July to December 2006: „Air Magdeburg“ (1st-3rd Sept.); „Kent means Business“ on 11th Oct in Thanet; EXPO REAL in Munich (23rd-25th Oct.); EUREGIA in Leipzig - (23rd-25th Oct.); "Logistikkongress" in Berlin (18th-20th Oct); „Eye for Transport“ in Dubai (13th-16th Nov.); final DEAR conference in Radom (7th Nov.); 46th International Conference of the European Regional Science Association in Volos (ERSA, 30th Aug- 3rd Sept), European Transport Conference in Strasbourg (18th-20th Sept); World Travel Market in London (6th-9th Nov); 5th European Tourism Forum in Lemesos, Cyprus (16th-17th Nov).
07.11.2006 Final DEAR conference in Radom
Pre-feasibility study introduced and discussed
In Radom, the final DEAR conference had been held on 7th November, two days before the official final conference for the whole partnership took place in Germany.
The conference in Radom was used to sum up the DEAR results and to evaluate the benefits for Radom. Of major importance to Radom was the pre-feasibility study for the airport that could be developed in the framework of DEAR. With help of this study, the airport will be further developed and thus create added value to the whole region and its economy. DEAR was successfully implemented in Radom and raised public awareness for a better exploitation of the airport.
14.09.2006 Official opening of cargo warehouse in Parchim
Cargo warehouse officially opened on the airport area in Parchim.
On 14th September, a new cargo warehouse was taken over by the owner, Parchim County. The event turned out as an international Airport Forum. For more detailed information, please contact the Lead Partner Parchim County.
28.06.2006 ETH represented on EMPEX EUROPE Fairs
Slupsk City Hall attended EMPEX EUROPE Fairs (26.-28.6.2006) and represented ETH

Thinking about the best promotion of our region we have decided to take part in Emerging Markets Property Exhibition - EMPEX Europe Fairs which took place in London on 26-28 June 2006. During the fairs we were given possibility not only to meet with property and industrial investors in comfortable conditions, but also to take part in conferences to learn how to show our offer attractively and efficiently and how to solve the most difficult challenges we face.

10.06.2006 Slupsk Economic Days 10/11 June 06
Slupsk Economic Days served as further DEAR Business Contact Forum and opportunity to market ETH
...it is most important to the city, organised each year by City Hall of Slupsk. In this way local authorities promote Slupsk and entrepreneurship initiatives in the region.

A comprised description of the DEAR ready
Sometimes it is necessary and useful to have all project details "at one glance", be it for journalists, be it for new project workers. Such a "project manual" can now be found in the section "DEAR outcomes".
13.12.2005 Technical Visit in Parchim
A delegation from Radom, Mr. Jerzy Kacak – Head of Industrial Development and Promotion Department - and Mr. Rafa? Grzeszczyk – Investor’s Assistance Center - visited Parchim on 6th and 7th of December 2005
At first, the two had a meeting in the Chamber of Commerce with the head of the department for foreign contacts and fairs, Bernd Riemann and with the vice manager Ulrich Unger. Especially interesting was how the Chamber of Commerce work for all entrepreneurs in the region and how they are organized.
Second they had a meeting with the Employment Agency which is now a part of the administration in Schwerin, to talk about measures for employment, EU projects, SME support and training. Visit to an innovative Employment project. Talks with Mr. Macke (Head of Department for Employer Care) and Jürgen Brandt (Project Manager for Equal projects for the City of Schwerin and initiator of the innovative employment measure
After that, the delegation went to the Economic Development Department of the City of Schwerin and had discussions with the two vice heads of the department, Mrs. Brau and Mrs. Gorniak.
On wednesday, a meeting with the County Commissioner of Parchim County, Klaus-Jürgen Iredi and the marketing consultant Carsten Kremke was arranged to talk about the airport study, marketing tools and investor attraction
The final meeting was with the economic and tourism development manager of Parchim town hall, with whom they visited the innovation centre in Parchim, talking about what does the town of Parchim for SMEs.
The visit was organized by Ines Herrmann and Britta Kremke and Rafal as well as Jerzy thought that it was a very beneficial and interesting event. The meeting was also recognized in the press. See download section for the article and gallery for pictures
28.11.2005 New checklist for preparation of journalists' visits
You can download a list with questions that journalists may ask about the project in the restricted area "interesting documents". The list was gathered in a brain storming session on the INTERREG Communication Seminar. You are welcome to use the list for other projects and activities as well and to translate it to your own language if you like.
